Virginia (Ginny) Ward, Leadership, Career, Transition Coach
Virginia Ward has spent her corporate career in Human Resources leadership positions with Fortune 50 corporations, where she regularly interacted with CEOs and supported C-Suite executives. As a Human Resources professional, Ginny was a strategic partner to senior executives, supporting the successful execution of their business goals by providing guidance and advice on leadership, employee development, and workforce planning issues. She led training, employee relations, compensation, and business partner functions and has a particular interest in leadership development and career planning. She has created numerous customized programs utilizing coaching, mentoring, experiential learning, and targeted classroom instruction, and is adept at conducting custom 360 ̊ feedback assessments.
As a coach, Ginny is a skilled listener and thinking partner who takes a systems-thinking, whole-person approach. She has the ability to see the big picture as well as a keen sense of quickly seeing the heart of a matter. Ginny has worked with all levels of corporate employees, entrepreneurs, solopreneurs, and non-profit leaders. Her coaching is focused on working with her clients to identify their roadblocks and find ways to move beyond them. Clients working with her will uncover new and different ways of thinking, doing, and being that will advance their personal and career goals.
Ginny has a BS in Psychology, completed Dartmouth University’s Tuck School of Business Leadership and Strategic Execution program, and has two post-graduate certifications from Georgetown University in Leadership Coaching and Organizational Development. She is a member of the International Coaching Federation. In addition, she holds these certificates: SHRM-SCP, PROSCI Change Management, HCI Strategic Workforce Planning, Adult Learning & Development, CFA Investment Foundations.
